Grace Maybury-McIntosh grew up on the north shores of Cape Cod. In 2009, she moved to the western mountains of Farmington, Maine. She is a devoted neighbor to both places.

Grace paints stubbornly from observation. She paints with her frozen feet planted in fresh snow piles. And when the seasons change, so do her paintings.

Grace is not sentimental to change. She feels the same respect with her subjects when the last leaf falls from its branch as she does when it sprouts fresh buds for spring.

Grace is utterly sentimental to location and will loiter in the same spots repetitively throughout the year.

Grace has recently participated in the 2025 Cape Elizabeth Land Trust’s Paint for Preservation Auction. Her work is in several private collections in New England.

Grace holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting from the Maine College of Art and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from The University of Maine at Farmington.
